Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is seeking a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to float between our Medical Oncology offices located North of the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. The offices include UPMC Horizon (Greenville & Farrell, PA), and New Castle, PA.

The role offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, and a Regular Full-Time Daylight schedule Monday through Friday in a Treatment/Infusion nurse capacity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of RN experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• IV Skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in unit quality improvement efforts and strives to improve patient satisfaction and care quality.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development and participates in shared governance and team support.
• Builds productive relationships and communicates effectively with physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Applies nursing process within Relationship Based Care to plan and deliver patient care and educate patients and families.
