Job summary
Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Collaborative Registered Nurse for Oncology who will provide safe and compassionate care on a specialized unit. You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while guiding UAPs and collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requires IL RN licensure, an Associate's degree with Bachelor's preferred, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience; alternative
Qualifications
- Current IL Registered Nurse licensure required.
- Associate's in Nursing is required; Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred.
- Current CPR certification required; OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
- Minimum 1 year Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience; ED/ICU/PACU acceptable if oncology experience is lacking.
Responsibilities
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a defined patient population.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
- Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety and promote a high-quality patient experience.
