Job summary

Endeavor Health's Kellogg Cancer Center in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in oncology. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.

The nurse will deliver chemotherapy, blood products, and coordinated care, adhering to the nursing process to optimize patient outcomes. Required IL RN licensure, an Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
• Associate's in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
• Oncology and/or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
