Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem seeks a Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology, at Evanston Hospital/Evanston Kellogg Cancer Center. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with shifts Monday–Friday, 4–10 hours each, and no weekends or holidays.

You will provide safe oncology infusions, apply nursing processes, and coach support staff to maintain high-quality patient outcomes and care continuity in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) required; OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; ED/ICU/PACU experience highly preferred if no oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:
