Job summary

Central Georgia Cancer Care is seeking a skilled registered nurse to join its oncology team. The role involves patient assessment, med safety, dose verification, and administration, with emphasis on high-quality cancer care. You will educate patients, triage calls, document in EMR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires RN license, CPR/BLS, and ability to travel to nearby clinics. Normal hours are Mon-Fri with potential overtime; multi-site coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accurate patient care including assessment, labs review, medication safety, dose verification and administration.
• Triage care and communicate patient condition to multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects and treatment plan.
• Document thoroughly in EMR; ensure appropriate charges and follow JBIs.
