American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled oncology nurse to provide safe and efficient patient care across multiple sites in Central Georgia.

You will assess patients, monitor labs and vital signs, verify doses, and administer chemotherapy and related therapies according to JBI guidelines. You will educate patients and families, perform triage, document thoroughly in the EMR, and support annual safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents as ordered.
• Assess patient condition, review labs and vital signs, and ensure dose verification and proper drug administration.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects and planned treatment.
• Document treatment in EMR accurately and timely; ensure appropriate charges are captured.
• Perform triage by phone and respond to calls from patients and facilities.
• Assist in training new employees and maintain patient confidentiality.
