American Oncology Network seeks a Registered Nurse for Low Country Cancer Care to deliver safe, efficient patient care including assessment, lab review, dose verification and medication safety in a multidisciplinary team.

You will educate patients and caregivers about medications, monitor vital signs, and perform triage calls, while documenting care in the EMR and assisting with inventory. Overtime and multi-site coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients.
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy and supportive care as ordered.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and planned treatment.
• Maintain thorough, accurate EMR documentation of treatment.
• Perform telephone triage and prioritize patient calls.
• Assist with inventory and stocking of medical supplies.
• Work across multiple clinic locations as needed.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings; protect patient confidentiality.
