Job summary

Regional Cancer Care Associates in Central Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide primary oncology care, including assessment, care planning, patient education, and treatment evaluation. The RN will support cancer patients through therapy and symptom management in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, oncology/chemotherapy experience, and strong ability to educate patients and coordinate care under RCCA policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN: Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred program.
• Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience; outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing processes, health care systems, and community resources.
• Performs assessment and data collection with focus on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Implements care plan based on nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
• Administers chemotherapy and IV therapy per ONS/OSHA guidelines.
• Maintains accurate medical records and follows HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with physician and healthcare team; triages telephone inquiries.
