Job summary

American Oncology Management Company is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support central Georgia cancer care teams. The role involves assisting physicians and RNs, administering IV therapies, drawing lab samples, and ensuring accurate documentation in OncoEMR.

Travel to multiple clinic sites may be required. Must hold LPN licensure with IV therapy experience, CPR/BLS, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BLS certification required.
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely mix and administer chemotherapeutic agents under supervision.
• Assist in obtaining lab samples and handling specimen processing per regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain patient documentation in OncoEMR and prepare superbill accurately.
• Provide patient and family education on medications and treatment plans.
• Handle telephone triage and prioritize messages from patients and facilities.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of medical supplies; enter charges in Nucleus.
