Job summary

American Oncology Management Company seeks a registered nurse to join Hawaii Cancer Care in providing safe, accurate patient care in an oncology clinic setting. You will assess patients, review labs and vital signs, verify dosing, and administer chemotherapy and related therapies per JBIs.

You will educate patients and families, triage telephone inquiries, and ensure complete EMR documentation while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN License in state of employment or multi-state license
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and planned treatment course.
• Interacts with patient and family in a caring, professional manner.
• Maintain thorough, accurate EMR documentation and appropriate charges for medications and activities.
