Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawai'i is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support oncology clinical trials in Honolulu. You will educate patients, coordinate visits, and administer investigational therapies within study protocols.

The role requires Hawaii RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, CITI training within 3 months, and 4+ years of oncology or trial experience. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent; RN license required
Minimum 4 years RN experience in oncology or oncology trials
CITI Human Subjects training within 3 months of hire
Current BLS and ACLS CPR Certification

Responsibilities

Independently educates, supports, and provides clinical care to oncology trial participants throughout all study phases.
Ensures ethical conduct of trials per protocol, regulatory standards, and policies.
Screens records/schedules to find suitable candidates and matches eligibility.
Coordinates protocol-required visits, testing, specimens, and administration of investigational agents as directed.
Maintains study calendars and ensures timely completion of activities.
Monitors safety and reports adverse events per sponsor requirements.
Maintains accountability records for investigational drugs and educates patients on administration.
Collects, processes, and ships specimens per protocol.
