Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, Kansas is seeking a day shift, full-time, Oncology Registered Nurse to join the chemotherapy cancer center and medical oncology team. The RN coordinates safe patient care, assesses needs, develops goals, evaluates care, delegates tasks, and adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Required: ADN, Kansas RN license, BLS within 14 days, ACLS for Tele/ICU/PCU, oncology certification after surgery; all certifications within the first year.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Current Kansas RN Licensure.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire and prior to direct patient care.
• ACLS required for Tele, ICU and PCU.
• Oncology certification post-surgery.
• All certifications completed within first year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for diverse patient populations.
• Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize goals, evaluate care.
• Delegate care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
