Next Move Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for long-term contract opportunities on an inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit in Topeka, Kansas.

This 21-bed unit handles hematology and oncology cases, inpatient chemotherapy, palliative and end-of-life care, and complex medical conditions. Typical staffing ratios are 1:6, or 1:4 during active chemotherapy infusions; work orders use CareCar forms.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ADN or BSN
• Minimum 1 year of acute-care nursing experience
• Oncology or Hematology experience preferred
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care on a Hematology/Oncology unit
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for symptom management and end-of-life care
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety standards

Openings: 2 Day Shift | 2 Night Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for long-term contract opportunities on an inpatient Hematology/Oncology unitin Topeka, Kansas.

This is a 21-bed unit caring for patients with hematologic and oncology diagnoses, inpatient chemotherapy needs, palliative and end-of-life care, tracheostomies, symptom management, and other complex medical conditions. Typical staffing ratios are 1:6, or 1:4 when active chemotherapy is infusing. Work Order Intake Form- CareCar

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ADN or BSN
• Minimum 1 year of acute-care nursing experience
• Oncology or Hematology experience preferred
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Epic experience preferred

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Day and night shift opportunities
• Every-other-weekend rotation
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating to other Med/Surg inpatient units may be required
• No call requirements
• Minimum 26-week commitment, with assignments available up to 52 weeks
