This role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced oncology environment. Ideal candidates hold an associate's degree in nursing with Kansas RN licensure and BLS, ACLS for critical units, and oncology certification for post-surgery care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Current Kansas RN licensure required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer to role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS required for Tele, ICU, and PCU.
• Oncology certification required post-surgery.
• All required certifications must be completed within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations.
• Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize patient goals, evaluate care delivery, and continually revise the plan of care to meet patient needs.
• Delegate care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
