Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT Codes and broad insurance/payor understanding.
• Strong customer service focus with problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates referral appointments and diagnostic testing per provider request.
• Obtains and communicates pre-authorization requirements with payors and facilities.
• Acts as liaison between patients, providers, departments, and third-party payers to ensure timely referrals.
