The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of oncology diagnostic phlebotomy experience, a state phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with MS Office. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required by state where employed
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend trainings.
• Update patient information and match requisitions to specimens.
