Job summary

American Oncology Network, at Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona in Flagstaff, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist with medication ordering, stocking, and preparation under licensed supervision.

You will coordinate with pharmacy leadership, nursing staff, and suppliers to ensure timely access to chemotherapy drugs and supplies, while complying with regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Medication Preparation & Dispensing: prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs under licensed supervision and review next-day orders with nursing staff.
• Inventory, Supply, and Equipment Management: order, stock, and track medications and supplies; maintain hoods and ambulatory pump documentation.
• Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: maintain records for programs and trials; ensure compliance with laws and privacy standards.
• Training & Collaboration: assist in training staff on chemotherapy prep and Nucleus workflows; collaborate with nurses, physicians, and reps.
• Operational Flexibility & Professional Responsibilities: support operations across locations and attend mandatory safety trainings.
