Job summary

American Oncology Management Company seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support chemotherapy preparation, dispensing, and inventory for Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona. You will operate under licensed supervision, manage Nucleus workflows, and coordinate with nursing and purchasing to ensure timely drug availability.

The ideal candidate has a PTCB or equivalent license, at least three years in healthcare, and willingness to travel for educational meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Following state regulations, PTCB Certification or Registered as Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ordering and stocking of medications and supplies in the clinic.
• Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs under licensed supervision and in compliance with state regulations.
• Coordinate with drug reps and suppliers to obtain samples and compassionate drugs.
• Liaise between Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Supervisor and Purchasing for special order medications.
• Assist in training staff on chemotherapy preparation and Nucleus workflows.
