Job summary

American Oncology Network AON is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support Messino Cancer Centers. The role involves preparing and mixing chemotherapy under supervision, stocking medications, and coordinating with nursing staff.

You will maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, manage inventory, train staff on the Nucleus system, and collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and sales reps across locations. Travel to clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: PTCB certification or registered as Pharmacy Technician per state regulations.
• Minimum three years of healthcare experience; clinical setting preferred.
• Must have valid state driver's license for travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix chemotherapy under supervision; maintain accurate dispensing and par-level management.
• Order, stock, and track medications and supplies; maintain chemotherapy hoods and ambulatory pump documentation.
• Maintain records for compassionate drug programs, clinical trials, biohazard waste, and related processes.
• Train new technicians and nursing staff on chemotherapy preparation and Nucleus workflows.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, supervisors, and reps to support patient care and operations.
