Job summary

Mountain View Hospital LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Tech to join our team. This position provides roles in oral and IV chemotherapy management at Teton Cancer Institute, including sterile compounding, assisting pharmacists, overseeing staff, and improving patient care and communication with outside pharmacies.

Those in this role will prepare sterile USP<797> and <800> compounds, input computer data, and provide all aspects of customer service that are required to provide Oncology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license from Idaho Board of Pharmacy.
• National Certification (CPhT) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in oral and IV chemotherapy management.
• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797/800 guidelines.
• Oversee staff involved in oral chemotherapy and prescription refills.
• Develop processes to improve patient care and communication with outside pharmacies.
• Input data into hospital information systems and provide customer service.
• Verify benefits and coordinate patient assistance programs as needed.
