Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma and 18+ years of age.
• Montana License for Tech in Training within 30 days of hire.
• National Certification as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred or to be certified within one year of Training license.

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense medications, IV medications, chemotherapy and hazardous meds under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform aseptic technique and use of closed system transfer devices.
• Maintain clean and safe operation of rooms and IV hoods.
• Obtain medication histories within 24 hours of admission and document in the EHR.
• Coordinate with Pharmacist and document histories in the EHR.
• Perform quality assurance tasks and unit dose checks.
