Qualifications

• One year of Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• Two years of sterile compounding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders accurately and manage Pyxis MedStations; ensure proper storage and waste handling.
• Prepare IV admixtures or other sterile preparations per policy.
• Lead in ordering drugs and supplies and manage stock rotation to maintain inventory levels.
• Adhere to USP <797> and USP <800> logs, cleaning, testing, and preparation standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
• Enter patient charges and credits daily and complete inter-departmental billing by the 5th.
• Schedule technician shifts on a monthly basis.
