Messino Cancer Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to maintain the ordering and stocking of medications and supplies, and to prepare and mix chemotherapy under supervision, in compliance with state regulations.

You will coordinate with drug representatives, manage inventory and equipment, handle waste disposal, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and Pharmacy leadership to support patient care and operations.

Qualificações

• PTCB Certification or registration as Pharmacy Technician required.
• Minimum of three years experience in healthcare, preferably clinical.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings and training sessions.
• Valid State Driver's License for travel to clinics.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs under supervision and state regulations.
• Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus system and ensure accurate dispensing and par-level management.
• Review next-day orders with nursing staff to anticipate needs.
• Order, stock, and track medical supplies and medications with minimal waste.
• Maintain records for compassionate drug programs, trials, and waste disposal; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training staff on chemotherapy preparation and system workflows.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, supervisors, and representatives to support patient care and operations.
