Messino Cancer Centers seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support chemotherapy preparation and dispensing across clinical teams. You will prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs under licensed supervision, manage the Nucleus system, and coordinate with nursing staff on daily orders.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in healthcare, valid pharmacy technician credentials, and willingness to travel for training and meetings.

Qualificações

Must be licensed/registered as a pharmacy technician.
Minimum of three years’ healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
Willingness to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings as well as training sessions.
Proficiency with chemotherapy preparation and dispensing protocols.

Responsabilidades

Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs and solutions under licensed supervision.
Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus medication dispensing system and ensure accurate dispensing and par-level management.
Review next-day orders with nursing staff to anticipate special medication needs.
Order, stock, and track medical supplies and medications, ensuring inventory levels and minimal waste.
Maintain records for compassionate drug programs, clinical trials, biohazard waste, and related processes.
Assist in training new pharmacy technicians and nursing staff on chemotherapy preparation and Nucleus workflows.
