Job summary

Messino Cancer Centers seeks a Pharmacy Technician to maintain medication inventory and prepare chemotherapy under supervision. You will liaise with nursing, physicians and purchasing to obtain special order medications and ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have PTCB certification or state license, at least 3 years in healthcare, and willingness to travel for training. Familiarity with Nucleus system is preferred. Location is clinic-based with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification or registration as Pharmacy Technician.
• Minimum of three years' healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Willing to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings and trainings.
• Valid State Driver's License for travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs under licensed supervision.
• Maintain Nucleus dispensing system proficiency and accurate dispensing.
• Review next-day orders with nursing staff to anticipate needs.
• Order, stock, and track medical supplies and medications; manage inventory.
• Safe, compliant disposal of biohazardous waste and related recordkeeping.
