American Oncology Network, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician at Vista Oncology in the Olympia area. Under supervision, you will prepare and mix chemotherapy medications, stock medications and supplies, and coordinate with drug reps to obtain samples and teaching materials.

You will maintain records, assist in training, ensure compliance with safety and privacy policies, and support the Pharmacy Supervisor in maintaining stock levels and dispensing duties.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required.
• State current PTCB Certification or Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Two–three years' experience as Pharmacy Technician in a clinical setting.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Mix chemotherapy drugs and solutions as prescribed by physicians.
• Coordinate with drug reps and pharmaceutical companies for samples and teaching materials.
• Maintain records for compassionate drugs and clinical studies.
• Maintain documentation for ambulatory pumps and chemotherapy hood upkeep.
• Order, stock and dispense medical supplies per Medical Supply Sheet.
• Review next-day orders with nursing staff for special drug needs.
• Train new nurses and pharmacy staff on chemotherapy prep and Nucleus dispensing system.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient and employee information.
