Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an oncology pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to cancer patients and support specialized care across multiple departments. You will be a clinical expert contributing to hematology/oncology rounds and participate in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include MTM, dosing recommendations, safe preparation of chemotherapy, and developing pharmacokinetic dosing services while supporting clinical trials and patient transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Oncology clinical experience preferred.
• MTM and direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care to optimize prescribing and monitoring.
• Provide MTM services and patient education.
• Make dosing recommendations based on patient factors.
• Collaborate with hematology/oncology and inpatient pharmacy teams.
• Prepare chemotherapy safely for clinical use and trials.
• Attend rounds and contribute to interdisciplinary care.
