Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Denver is seeking an experienced Patient Service Coordinator for our Denver Midtown clinic. We value care, compassion, and commitment in serving oncology patients.

Salary ranges from $19.50 to $26.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA/FSA options, 401(k), life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more. Responsibilities include scheduling, referrals processing, pre-certifications, cash

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Mansioni

• Schedules new patients and return appointments in computer system in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
• Obtains and enters all authorization and correspondence relating to referrals in patients charts and computer.
• Schedules outpatient appointments/testing and hospital admissions upon request.
• Obtains necessary pre-certification as required.
• Collects co-pays, deductible and other out of pocket amounts at time of visit.
• Handles incoming phone calls from patients needing to schedule or reschedule appointments.
• Provides patients with accurate appointment cards and documents no-shows for rescheduling.
• Arranges for financial counseling as needed.
• Demonstrates understanding of patient confidentiality and follows front-office procedures.
• Covers other front office functions as requested.
