Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year as a receptionist in a medical office/clinic or 2 years in healthcare.
• Knowledge of releasing information, HIPAA, privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Register patients: obtain/verify demographics and insurance information.
• Handle non-registration tasks: answer calls, manage documents, confirm fax transmissions, obtain prior authorizations.
• Schedule visits and labs; coordinate imaging/procedures with central scheduling.
