Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff, assist with daily living activities, and help monitor vital signs.

You will document in the Electronic Health Record, aid with meals and mobility, maintain clean and stocked rooms, and participate in a collaborative care team. Educational requirements include a high school diploma and relevant certifications; prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS, CMA, CNA certifications preferred.
• Experience in patient care 0–1 year preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient care duties under licensed personnel.
• Documents vitals, intake, fluids/food in EHR.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, feeding and ambulation.
• Stocks patient rooms and ensures equipment cleanliness.
• Assists with admitting and discharging patients.
• Supports orientation of new PCA staff.
• Communicates with nursing staff and patients effectively.
• Maintains a positive, collaborative care environment.
