Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care experience required; hospital setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating) and basic care tasks.
• Take and document vitals (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) and assist with EKGs as needed.
• Support RNs and physicians with exams and treatments; document in EHR.
• Ensure rooms are stocked, cleaned and prepared; assist with admissions/discharges as directed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care team; participate in a collaborative environment.
• Provide leadership support to the PCA team, including orientation and scheduling assistance.
