Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on insurance coverage, benefits, and financial assistance options.
• Update and maintain patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits in the system.
• Obtain pre-authorization or referral codes prior to treatment.
• Review patient balances and ensure accurate co-pays entered in the system.
• Communicate with billing to support reimbursement workflows.
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
