Qualifications

• Computer literacy with basic software

• Prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a positive and welcoming manner.
• Check for proper registration in EPIC.
• Print ID bracelet and verify birth date and name; check in appointments.
• Explain to patients what they are scheduled for and where to go.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; scan into EPIC at the workstation.
• Collect and obtain forms (Admissions, Medicare forms, Hospital Billing Notice) and seek self-pay forms if uninsured.
• Ensure all forms are signed by patients.
• Oversee the master schedule and greet non-patients.
