Baptist Health seeks a Patient Access Preceptor to support the Revenue Cycle in a high-volume call center environment. You will validate authorizations for Oncology Radiation/Infusion and guide new hires, ensuring timely processing and adherence to pricing, insurance requirements, and compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with departments to improve patient experience while meeting quality metrics and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience validating/obtaining authorizations.
• Meets/exceeds most recent 12 months performance standards.
• Willing to cross-train and assist co-workers; leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and medical necessity guidelines.
• Experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding in oncology settings.

Aufgaben

• Request, follow-up, obtain, and validate authorizations/referrals/notifications with CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Operate in a call center environment and meet individual quality metrics.
• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing; answer questions or concerns.
• Serve as an authorization resource and lead in supervisor's absence.
• Support go-lives and department initiatives; participate in committees.
