Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative in Oncology (East) to coordinate all aspects of Patient Access, onboard new hires, and develop training materials. The role requires excellent communication, healthcare office experience, and the ability to operate under pressure.

The Lead will provide staffing coverage, audits, and data to leadership while acting as a liaison for team members and supervisors, including on-call rotation within the department.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare/medical office environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including email, in‑person, and phone interactions.
• Knowledge of registration requirements and general billing/insurance processes.
• Understanding of insurance requirements including pre-certification, verification, pre-registration and scheduling.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of Patient Access to ensure a customer-focused, quality-driven work climate.
• Onboard new hires, develop training materials and provide audits for team members.
• Provide statistical data to leadership and serve as liaison for team members and supervisors.
• Participate in on-call rotation within the department.
