Trinity Health in Pontiac, MI seeks a Registered Nurse for outpatient oncology care in the Radiation Oncology department. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate care for patients with complex medical needs, and serve as a clinical resource to colleagues in a multidisciplinary cancer program.

The role requires a BSN or ADN with a BSN agreement, 1–2 years of nursing experience with older patients, and Michigan RN licensure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or ADN; if ADN, must sign BSN completion agreement.
• 1–2 years nursing experience with older patients not in a nursing home.
• Current Michigan RN licensure or temporary license.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and document ongoing patient assessments; correlate with vitals and meds.
• Interpret and respond to changes in patient status; communicate with MD/NP/social worker.
• Identify unsafe conditions and initiate changes to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with health team to implement the care plan.
• Coordinate with RN/MA schedule on rotating basis with RN colleagues.
• Provide psycho-social support and involve social worker as needed.
• Administer medications as directed by NP/MD.
• Mentor less experienced staff and be a clinical resource.
• Maintain confidentiality and align with Trinity Health policies.
• Engage in ongoing education and committee work.
