Trinity Health Oakland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night Shift in Pontiac, Michigan. The 497-bed teaching hospital provides comprehensive cardiovascular, stroke, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology and cancer care as part of Trinity Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Michigan.
• Required certifications listed for RN Care Managers (ACLS, BCLS, ENCP, PALS, NRC as applicable).
• Minimum two years' RN experience on medical/surgical or ICU/critical care units.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during assigned shift and coordinate care plans.
• Lead and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to implement and evaluate the continuum of care.
• Provide education and delegate patient activities using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Support governance and organizational commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Adapt to shift work and participate in the hospital’s residency and ongoing professional development.
