Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an experienced outpatient oncology RN to provide high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory radiation oncology setting. The role emphasizes coordination of care for patients with complex medical needs, and acting as a clinical resource within the cancer program.

You will collaborate with MDs, NPs, social workers and other health team members, participate in education, and help develop care plans while maintaining patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or ADN; must agree to complete BSN.
• 1–2 years nursing experience with older patients not in a nursing home.
• Current Michigan RN licensure or temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document ongoing patient assessments and correlate with physiology.
• Interpret and communicate changes in patient status to MD/NP and social worker.
• Coordinate care plans and ensure safe patient management across the care team.
• Administer medications as directed by NP/MD.
• Lead planning for RN/MA schedules on a rotating basis.
• Support education for colleagues and participate in committees as needed.
