Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is hiring a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner for the Radiation Oncology team in Southeast Michigan. This role involves providing comprehensive oncology care throughout the patient's treatment journey while collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team.

As a valued member, you'll work with radiation oncologists, nurses, and other specialists, ensuring advanced, evidence-based patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Unrestricted Michigan RN license (or ability to obtain).
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification through ANCC or AANP.
• Two or more years of oncology experience preferred.
• Direct Radiation Oncology experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive histories, physical exams for patients.
• Conduct weekly on-treatment visits and assess treatment tolerance.
• Develop and implement treatment and survivorship care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and self-management.
