Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager/Clinical Director to plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and evaluate clinical and administrative activities of an assigned nursing unit. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, assumes responsibility for staff oversight and patient care on the unit.

They will supervise, evaluate, guide and counsel nursing staff, ensure staffing patterns provide optimal delivery of nursing services, and apply nursing theory and management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• 3 years oncology experience required.
• General clinical leadership experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support required.
• PA RN license required.
• Multi-State Compact RN license required or

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates overall clinical and administrative activities of an assigned nursing unit.
• In the absence of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Director, assumes ultimate responsibility for staff oversight and patient care on the unit.
• Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels nursing staff in their work performance.
• Ensures staffing patterns provide optimal delivery of nursing services.
