Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including oncology.
• One-year leadership experience preferred.
• Oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and assist with staff training and development.
• Oversee clinical operations for nursing support activities.
• Maintain nursing personnel files and ensure licensing requirements.
• Review and revise clinical policies and procedures.
• Ensure adequate staffing for assigned clinics and manage costs.
• Participate in interviewing and recruiting nursing personnel.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
• Direct correct use of charge codes and staff education on reimbursement.
• Develop new services and activities for patients, families, and staff.
• Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to less experienced nurses.
