Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, part of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, is seeking an RN to support oncology patients with coordinated care, education, and symptom management. The role collaborates across disciplines to improve outcomes within a dedicated cancer program.

Schedule is Monday–Friday days; benefits include extensive health coverage, generous PTO, relocation assistance, and tuition support for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• DC state licensure and/or compact state licensure in the District of Columbia.
• 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• RN license and CPR certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with the Attending Physician and the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist in communications with patients and triage patient issues.
• Provide symptom management and patient education regarding disease and treatment.
• Monitor service delivery and evaluate care quality for patients and families.
