Job summary

UCI Health in California is seeking an experienced Oncology and Infusion RN to join our clinical team. You will deliver direct and indirect patient care with emphasis on chemotherapy management and patient education in our clinic setting.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, CA RN license, BLS, and strong communication skills to support patients and families through complex cancer care pathways. This role is based in Irvine, with opportunities to collaborate across care teams.

Qualifications

• Nursing care in oncology requires knowledge of cancer care and chemo protocols.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and care teams.
• CA RN license and BSN are mandatory for this role.
• BLS certification is required for practice readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in the clinic.
• Serve as primary contact for oncology patients and educate on cancer care and chemo.
• Ensure continuum of care: pre-procedure, chemo, discharge planning, follow-up.
• Support faculty in clinic for every patient care session.
• Provide nursing services and assist with growth of the practice and referrals.
