Job summary

UCI Health in Orange County is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the Gynecologic Oncology Service at the H. H. Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The role provides direct and indirect patient care within the cancer care continuum, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care from pre-procedure through discharge. Requirements include a BSN, California RN license, BLS certification, and 6 months oncology experience or 1 year with Oncology Nursing Society

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care based on the nursing process.
• Coordinate pre-procedure, procedure, and post-care activities for gynecologic oncology patients.
• Educate patients and families about cancer care, procedures, and treatments.
