Job summary

UCI Health in Orange County is seeking a dedicated RN for the Gynecologic Oncology Service at HH Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, educate patients and families about cancer care, and coordinate pre-procedure, therapy, surgery, and discharge planning.

The role supports clinic operations, schedules visits, and collaborates with physicians and the care team to ensure quality care and smooth referrals.

Qualifications

• Requires California RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months as RN in Oncology setting or 1 year cancer basics course per Oncology Nursing Society.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for the Gynecologic Oncology Service.
• Educate patients and families on cancer care, procedures, medications and treatment plans.
• Coordinate pre-procedure, surgery, therapy, hospitalization and discharge planning with the care team.
• Support clinic operations and scheduling of visits and procedures.
