AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to lead education for hematology/oncology clinicians, delivering product and disease education to support patient management.

This field-based role requires up to 50% travel across assigned territories; the ideal candidate has 7+ years of oncology experience, strong communication, and the ability to translate data into practical training for healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Current active HCP license
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience. Recent clinical Hematology experience required; recent multiple myeloma preferred
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice working with Hematology/Oncology patients
• Passion for patients is essential
• Excellent communication(s), objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience adapting to change and embracing learning
• Demonstrated experience interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data
• Recognizes evolving shifts in oncology market trends and respective effects on provider and patient
• Success operating within a cross-functional team
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work autonomously with efficient time management
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications
• The individual must be able to travel 50% of the time, including the ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Must have needed authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or rental

Responsabilités

• Educate allied health care clinicians on therapies and patient management
• Develop customized educational plans from account dynamics and clinical insights
• Educate on preparation, administration and adverse event mitigation for approved products
• Provide 1:1 presentations, in-services, round-table discussions and podium presentations
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical and CV&E teams
• Document customer interactions and educational activities; manage resources
