Job summary

This role provides comprehensive education on chemotherapy and immunotherapy prior to initiation and acts as liaison across care teams.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Georgia RN license.
• Three years of related nursing experience, including oncology/infusion.
• OCN certification preferred.
• CPR certification for Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide chemotherapy and immunotherapy education before treatment.
• Conduct ongoing symptom assessment and triage.
• Manage treatment-related toxicities and coordinate supportive care.
• Facilitate timely communication among oncology team, infusion services, pharmacy, and ancillary departments.
• Promote patient safety and adherence while reducing ED visits and hospitalizations.
