Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an Oncology & Chemotherapy Nurse Educator (RN) to support Northwest Georgia Oncology (Outpatient). The role focuses on delivering chemotherapy and immunotherapy education before treatment, performing symptom assessment and triage, and coordinating care across the oncology team to improve safety and adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Three years of nursing experience required (minimum).
• Experience in ambulatory/hospital oncology, infusion services, nurse navigation, care coordination, or triage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy education prior to treatment initiation.
• Conduct ongoing symptom assessment and triage.
• Manage treatment-related toxicities and coordinate supportive care interventions.
• Ensure timely communication between patients and oncology care team.
• Act as liaison among patients, physicians, APPs, infusion services, pharmacy and ancillary departments to promote safety and adherence.
