MedStar Georgetown University Hospital seeks an oncology-focused Registered Nurse to join the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. The role supports patient communication, triage, symptom management, and patient education within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include monitoring care delivery, coordinating with Attending Physicians, and contributing to outcomes data-driven improvements. DC licensure and 1–2 years of clinical experience are required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• DC state licensure or compact licensure required.
• 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with Attending Physician and triage patient issues.
• Assist in communications with patients and provide education on disease and treatment.
• Monitor service delivery and evaluate health care services for patients and families.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to support cost-effective practice changes.
