Qualifications

• Active DC RN license and BSN from an accredited program.
• Clinical oncology experience in acute-care or ambulatory settings.
• Coordinate complex patient care, triage, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice.
• Effective communication and patient education skills.
• Mentor staff and participate in teaching/precepting as needed.
• Familiarity with EHRs, safety and infection-control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive oncology nursing care to patients.
• Assess patient needs and plan/implement individualized care plans.
• Manage symptoms and provide patient and family education.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe treatments.
• Oversee patient flow, triage priorities, and complex case management.
• Mentor nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to oncology protocols and uphold safety and compliance standards.
